Info/Background:
Soleil - French for sun, an essential element that energises our
planet. Founded by Peter, the label's concept and vision was conceived
a few years prior to it's inception with planning shelved until 2003.
With the project always in mind he recorded an astounding amount of
music that fit within his idealised concept, in order to release as
much material as possible for the label's launch. In June 2003 the
first Soleil EP 'The World Energy EP' was released. Presently there
are eleven relases on the label. 'Live episode' releases included
Japan and Norway performances. The yet to be released third 'Live
episode' will feature Echoplex performances from the USA, Spain and
Australia.
Objective:
Peter's primary intention was to create a label that would serve as an
electronic home for his artistic output, featuring his own works along
with artists with whom he collaborates and those who share his musical
visions. It was also important to Peter that a broader picture of his
productions as Echoplex was given. As the Echoplex 'persona' is known
to be synonymous with intense live performances, Peter created a form
of 'electronic diary' by recording his most memorable shows. Out of
these gigs the Soleil projects 'Warsaw Admixture' and 'Soleil live
episode' were born.
Vision:
Soleil records is committed to releasing music that gives love, light
and joy and expands the mind, soul and consciousness of the listener.
